Blueberry Cream Cheese Tarts

My elder daughter love tarts and she love cheese, I wonder why up till now I have yet find or bake up some recipe that contains the "holy matrimony" of these two ingredients. And I have been purchasing this blueberry cream cheese tarts from a nearby bakery store for RM$3.40 a piece...what was I thinking? But thank goodness, I recently got this recipe from a friend whom also adore baking & cooking. And she has even kindly demonstrated the method too! Thanks! And guess what, she just started her own blog recently, it's call ReeseKitchen. :)

These delicious tarts has a rich and buttery tart shell that has perfect texture which goes really well with the creamy cheese filling in the center. The blueberry pie filling on top gave the tarts a great fruity scent, enhancing the overall taste and flavor. You know I can actually chomp down at least 3 or 4 of these babies in one go! Even my family back in Singapore love these tarts...definitely a keeper.

Perhaps the next time I bake these tarts, I will try out with strawberry or raspberry jam...that might be a hit too!
Since the recipe has been shared with me by my friend, so I shall not post it here on my blog. So interested bakers can kindly proceed to ReeseKitchen for more details. :) Do try these tempting deserts, it's not at all hard to make and it's worth every trouble, trust me! Have fun!

Thanks Grace, do try them, they are almost as good as the blueberry cream cheese pound cake but it's in tart form. ;)

Hi HBS,
Your blueberry cream cheese tarts looks really delicious! There was supposed to be a "reknowned" bakery near my workplace which sells this blueberry cream cheese tarts. But it was just disappointing when I tried them. :( Yours definitely looks much better than theirs!! Even your crusts is so nice! :)

Hi Jane,

This is a very good recipe, do try them when you get the chance. Thanks for the compliment! ;)BTW, how much is that "renowned" baking charging for that tart? Just curious...

Hi Anonymous,
Glad you like the tarts! These tarts keeps really well if you refrigerate them in air-tight containers, up to a week or more. ;) So make more next time, haha!
